Sister Linda Whitehead, our beautiful 1st lady

Sister Linda Whitehead has many roles in life. She is the wife of our illustrious pastor, Rev.
Edward L. Whitehead of 26 years. The mother of two children, Angela and Stephen. She has an
occupation as a High School English teacher. She is a daughter, sister, and friend. In addition,
she is truly a child of the most high God. Sister Whitehead has been a member of New Greater
Exodus for over 20 years, including 17 years as 1st lady of the church.

In the past , she sang soprano in the NGE's Joy choir. One of the song she lead is entitled
"Show me the Way, Lord" However, God has called her to new ministries. Currently, she is the
Coordinator of the Women's Ministry. Sister Whitehead has been paramount in the success of
our Women's Day Celebrations, and Prayer shut-ins.
Sister Linda Whitehead always has a smile and a scripture to give to everyone. When it comes to
talking about God, Sister Linda Whitehead is an inspirational and dynamic speaker. One of her
saying is: " If God says it, I believe it and that's it!"

Sister Whitehead has overcome many obstacles in her ministry as first lady and feels optimistic
about the direction of the church. "We have a nucleus of bible believing prayer warriors, here
at Exodus, who are determined to do the will of God. As we continue to do God's will, I
believe God will continue to bless us, as one body in Christ."
During the interview for this web page, Sister Whitehead was asked: What are you going to do
when you see Jesus? She responded "Fall to His feet and thank Him for the victories on the other
side."
