Stand Against Cancer

Stand Against Cancer is a faith based program funded by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Office of Women's Health. Our health ministry is partners with Access Community Health and several local medical clinics to ensure access for screening of breast and cervical cancer. SAC Ministry Mission Our mission is to assist women and men makes a stand against breast and cervical cancer by providing education about the importance of early detection for breast and cervical cancer and advocating the access to breast and cancer screening and treatment through referral to our local community health care organizations. Your Personal Invitation Give the gift of Knowledge The New Greater Exodus  M. B. Church invites you to bring their free inspirational Stand Against Cancer workshop to your church, community center, school, clinic, or anywhere people are. Each workshop includes a 30 minute to one hour discussion/presentation about breast & cervical cancer, SAC video, Pre/Post Test, Self breast examination demonstrations, Clinic referrals for a no cost to low cost doctor visit for a free papsmear and/or clinical breast exam,   The expertise of a Registered Nurse (RN). OR Attend the monthly scheduled workshops at New Greater Exodus The workshops are scheduled for every third Saturday of the Month at 2 p.m to 4 p.m.  Please check our calendar page for any changes to the schedule.
